“Character may be manifested in the great moments, but it is made in the small ones.”
Winston Churchill

Individual

Individual therapy or counselling refers to a session with one client and one practitioner. Sessions with individuals are only about the client’s own issues and strive to help them better understand themselves, their problems, and how they react to them. This can assist them to manage themselves and their relationships in a more healthy way within their daily lives. Clients choose individual sessions for many reasons, such as

  • Career or Life Transition
  • Dealing with Grief or Loss
  • Managing Anxiety or Depression
  • Parenting Issues
  • Addictive or Destructive Behaviours, i.e. drinking, sexing, gambling
  • Working through Trauma

Individual sessions average about 45 to 60 minutes long. Clients can choose to work short or long term depending on the issue/s they wish to address and the level of change they desire to see in their lives.

""I was introduced to Rob McKelvey through a soccer team mate, my goal was to receive some assistance with one on one business coaching and mentoring. The personal development and changes I went through were simply amazing. Rob assisted me determine how to not only improve in business, but more importantly to improve as a person, father and husband. With Rob's help I completely changed not only my career, but the way I interact with people and colleagues. My family and I are now living in London, and I run a successful property development and management business. I doubt these changes would have happened had I not met Rob.""
